I love the Emily series! She struck a chord in me that sunshiny Anne didn't. I am a melancholy, uninteresting poet too so I ached for Emily thru all the misunderstanding she received. The only bad thing about a melancholy character is that she infuses melancholy into the books. They ended much too rancidly in my opinion, but then I am an incorrigible "Happy ending" person. --Libby
I would love to hear what you have to say! I highly enjoy each comment! Just keep it clean and respectful. I do moderate, but as long as it's clean and respectful I should publish it within a short amount of time. Thank you! ReplyDeleteYes! I love Emily! I did like the ending of Emily's Quest, because to me it was a happy ending. I am a "happy ending" person, too. :)
