Fall Look & Random Things

I was kind of sad to change my header this time, because I've only had this one for...a month? And a half? (I'm not really sure and I'm not willing to check.) But it's fall, and time for a new look. So...
Voila.
I'm still getting the hang of this...
But do you like the pianoforte theme?
Yes, all of the pictures are from Jane Austen this time. That's just how it worked because I wanted pianofortes. Soooo...thoughts?

And for the random things:

-I've been wanting to ask...what do you all think of the terms Janeite/Austenite?
-I have 20 followers!!!
-If you haven't checked out Molly Rebekah's blog, A Ramble Through the Woods, you should. She is a fellow L. M. Montgomery and Jane Austen fan, and a great blogger. :)
-I apologise for not having posted very often lately. It's because of school and a little because of lack of inspiration.
-I still haven't decided about a Jane Austen or L. M. Montgomery week. I am seriously considering forgetting the whole idea. If you agree, please vote on the sidebar. I've extended the poll once again! Also keep in mind that you can select multiple answers...And also keep in mind that I am totally fine if you click "neither one."
-I already have almost 300 pins on my new Pinterest. Remember (probably not) when I said I'd probably have 100 by the end of the month? Hah.
-I thought I had published this post already, and so when I went to my "posts" list to work on another post I was very surprised to see this still as a "draft!" Hahaha, Rae. Man.
Have a lovely day/evening!

  1. Oooh, I like it all very much, Rae!! Pianos, gold, and the leafy background are lovely!

I think I prefer Janeite. I have no reasoning behind that, just so you know. ;D

About your themed weeks. While I would love to see what you would do with a themed week, I also know that with school that task could be very stressful! So I would be fine with leaving the idea for a time.

    Congrats on your followers!

    1. Thank you!!!

I think if I were to use one it would be Janeite. It sounds nicer (to me). I'm also wondering if people use either one, and who uses what. Do you call yourself a Janeite?

      Thanks for the input!

Thank you! I was shocked. How did that happen? :)

      Thanks for your comment!!!

  2. YAY for 20 followers! And I LOVE your header! I'm amazed that your category could be so specific (Jane Austen pianos) and still coordinate so well. Well, done! :)

  3. The new fall theme is soo pretty, and I love the piano-forte theme on the header! :) I don't mind the terms Janeite/Austenite, but I've never actually used them. Instead I just say "Jane Austen fan," haha. :)

That was way too sweet of you to mention my blog! I was so surprised when I saw that; it totally made my day. Thank you so much!! :D

  4. I love the pianoforte theme! And the tree background is super cool. Also I love how your profile picture goes with it so well:) Anne of Windy Poplars is one of those books that just feels like fall to me!
I don't know how I feel about the whole Janeite/Austenite thing-mostly it just makes me think of Nephites and Lamanites, hehe :) I have heard them before but I guess I've never really used them myself.
Congratulations on 20 followers!! And don't worry about not posting as much-I've definitely having a hard time keeping up with all the blogging I want to do with schoolwork.
And I would like either week! That's what I voted for :) Although now that I think about it, maybe LM Montgomery over Jane Austen, since her birthday is coming up soon? And Jane's isn't until December. It would be fun to do their weeks on their birthdays:)

Thanks! I figured L. M. Montgomery needed a highlight because my header is all Jane Austen. So Anne of Windy Poplars it is! And that's way cool that you recognised the cover. It's so great that you're kindred spirit enough for that. :)
Hahaha, I never actually thought about that! Now I don't think I'll ever be able to NOT think of that... :)
      Thank you! I know--schoolwork. Ugh.
I know a couple bloggers have done weeks on each of their birthdays before. I'll see; thanks for the input!
      Thanks for your comment!

  6. I think your new blog look is splendid! I noticed the piano theme right away, and I think it's a great idea! It's so cool that the colors ended up coordinating so well! It looks very Fall-ish. Great job, friend! (The background is nice, too. Also your profile picture. I guess I just like everything!! :))

Ha! Lack of time and inspiration? Why does that sound familiar? Heh.

That would be 21 followers, my dear! ;) Isn't that neat, it's gone up one since you wrote this post! Congratulations! You're doing an awesome job with your blog!! :D

I really don't know which I prefer, Janeite or Austenite. I guess I probably don't care for either too much. I'm just not into fandoms that much, so fan names don't exactly appeal to me. ;)

Good luck with your school work! I hope it allows you more time for blogging soon. :) In the meantime, though, I hope you have a lovely day, too (or morning, or evening, or whenever you get this!)

      Ugh. Seriously. :/

I know!!! I don't know how I have this many, and I'm pretty sure several of them haven't looked at it since they followed. :) Thank you so much!

Yeah, that's kind of what I think.

Thank you! I certainly hope so.

Thanks for your always-lovely comment, Miss March!!
